What is Hidroxinua 25®?    What is hydroxytyrosol?

Hidroxinua 25® is a food supplement based on hydroxytyrosol (25 mg/pearl), a phenol from olives. In 2011, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) declared that olive hydroxytyrosol (from 5mg) prevents the oxidation of LDL cholesterol (popularly known as 'bad'). An oxidized LDL becomes 'sticky' and adheres to the walls of blood vessels easily, thus hindering the circulation of blood rich in oxygen and nutrients.

This phenomenon occurs even if LDL levels are normal in a blood test, although logically, the higher they are, the higher the proportion that may be oxidized. A single pearl a day of Hidroxinua 25® offers an ideal daily protection.

Helps peripheral circulation

The thousands of veins and arteries that carry blood to areas away from the heart form what is known as "peripheral circulation". Any situation that hinders the passage of blood rich in oxygen and nutrients in some of these vessels will result in a series of alterations that can cause various types of discomfort.

Hydroxytyrosol has a double effect:

1. it prevents cholesterol from damaging the vessel walls.
2. it contributes to improve the oxygenation of the cells. Therefore, its intake contributes to support peripheral circulation.
